Do I need a prescription for anti-wrinkle injections?
Yes, Botox is a prescription-only medication, and we require at least 72 hours to complete your prescription. To avoid delays, we always recommend booking your treatment in advance. After your consultation with the nurse, your prescription is then dispensed at our local pharmacy. Please ensure you read refund policy before booking this treatment.
What botox do you use?
We primarily use Azzalure, a trusted and effective brand of botulinum toxin. However, depending on your consultation and individual needs, we may recommend a different form of Botox for optimal results.
How long does it take to see results?
Results typically start to appear within 3–5 days, with full effects visible at 10–14 days. The results last around 3–4 months, depending on individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle.
What are the side effects of anti-wrinkle injections?
Anti-wrinkle injections are generally safe, with minimal side effects when administered correctly.
However, some common temporary side effects may include:
- Redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site
- Headache or a feeling of heaviness
- Tenderness or mild discomfort in the treated area
- Slight asymmetry or uneven results (which can be corrected at a review appointment)
- Rare side effects include brow droop, eyelid droop (ptosis), or muscle weakness in nearby areas.
